The Universal Law of
Gravity says: "What comes up, must come down". More
specific: "The amount of energy needed to lift an object
up is the same amount of energy pulling it down." Sounds
pretty smart, eh? Translated to your career it's means something
like: the same amount of people you elbow off the track on your
way to the top will be found gnawing and clawing at your ankles,
trying you pull you back.
To deal with the Law
of Gravity, men invented machines.
To deal with them, wear
black leather boots with spurs.
