Everyone knows you can't
trust any staffmember. A staffmember becomes one because he's
too incompetent to do anything else or he's positioning himself
in persuit of your job. Therefore, any 'facts' presented by any
staffmemember should at least be triple-checked before acted upon
(if acted upon at all).
It's beyond any words
available in any given language to discribe the amount and exact
depth of sheer stupidity of someone stating a fact as a certainty
(this being told by a staffmember) before the entire forum of
the United Nations. Doing this in a live television broadcast
(with a viewing audiance of approx. 3.500.000.000 people worldwide),
supported by 'evidence' presented in Powerpoint (provided by that
same staffmember), triples above mentioned mission impossible.
Only capturing Osama
bin Laden alive with your bear hands in the mountains of Afghanistan
and personally handing him over to President Bush (live on CNN)
might clean that slate of eternal shame (but make sure it's the
real Osama!).
